Bill Hunley is a returning board member who currently serves on the Stewardship Committee. Bill grew up in rural Botetourt County. He has an AAS in Forestry from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, a B.A. in Biology from Mary Baldwin College, and an M.S. in Science Education from Radford University. He retired from teaching Science and Math at the Community School in Roanoke in 2020. Bill has a lifelong interest in wildlife and natural history. He often leads field trips focusing on local flora and fauna. He lives in Roanoke with his wife, Deborah, and daughter, Rachel.
